Sip & Shop
We hope you'll join us this year for the Swampscott Elementary School Holiday Sip, Shop & Stroll! Geared towards adults, this community-building event allows parents to socialize and shop. Stroll between the Swampscott Yacht Club and Coastal Collective and check out some amazing local vendors to pick up some awesome gifts for the holiday!
Swampscott Yacht Club offers a cash bar and a casual place to meet new people and catch up with friends. We understand December can be a busy month, but we hope to see you there!
Holiday Fair
SES's annual Holiday Fair will take place in December. The fair will include fun holiday themed crafts and activities for the kids as well as a holiday market. Turkey Trot
Hi SES Families,
We’re thrilled to host our 2nd Annual SES Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 15th, from 9–11:30 AM at Upper Jackson Park (next to Swampscott High School)!
This PTO event raises funds for each class’s 4th grade graduation events and programs. Funds collected by each grade will follow them through the years until 4th grade, helping reduce future fundraising needs.
How it works:
Each grade runs around the track, chasing our Turkey, Arthur! They can run 1 lap or as many as they like for 15 minutes.
New this year: an adult race!
Event Details:
Saturday, November 15th
Time: 9:00–11:30 AM (grade-level time slots to follow)
Fundraising: Parents should create one pledge page per child here: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/sesturkeytrot/
Incentive: The class with the most registrations wins an extra recess!
T-shirts: All participating students receive a Turkey Trot shirt (design created by an SES student).
T-Shirt Design Contest:
Calling all SES artists! Submit your Turkey Trot t-shirt designs to be featured on this year's race t-shirt!
Submit by Wednesday, October 29 at 2:10 PM to Ms. Curtis, Ms. Moar, or Ms. McAssey.
Format: 8.5” × 11” plain white paper
Style: Black ink/Sharpie/marker only (no color, no lined paper)
**Only black and white entries will be considered for reproduction purposes.**
Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to see you at the Trot!

Scholastic Book Fair
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. AND—as always—every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the big event, which will take place from November 3rd-13th.
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet —your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Sign Up Here!
SES Halloween Parade

Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat
Our annual Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat will be held on October 18th. Fall fest combines the fun of Trunk or Treat with fall-themed games and activities for all ages! Face painting, hay bail bowling, bobbing for apples, and more! To make this possible, we need volunteers for candy donations, decorated Trunks, and station volunteers. Sign up to volunteer for Fall Festival here
Donations can be sent in with your student in the morning and they can drop it if off at either office.
If you are dropping off donations during the school day, please use the green office.
Please send in donations by October 15th. We greatly appreciate it!
There will be no parking available at SES or the church lot for this event! We ask that you walk, park at friend’s house or use the middle school parking lot and walk over.
